4th call for proposals: approved projects

Through “Pioneer Imaging Projects” (PIP), PHRT explores strategies, approaches, methods and options for a new Clinical Imaging Hub in the ETH Domain. During the second PHRT phase, these PIPs shall transform into a multi-centric Clinical Imaging Hub that will sustain after PHRT comes to its end in 2024. Click here to see the approved projects.

ETH Board approves second phase of PHRT for 2021-2024

The ETH Board has approved a second phase of Personalized Health and Related Technologies (PHRT), one of the ETH Domain’s four strategic focus areas. PHRT will launch its next call for proposals at the beginning of 2021.

3rd call for proposals: approved projects

​With its 3rd call for proposals, PHRT invited clinical scientists, who have access to an extensive sample cohort, to create an inter-institutional, interdisciplinary consortium to formulate a well-defined clinical question to request funding to generate matched genomic, transcriptomic and proteomic data by the two PHRT platforms. Based on the suggestion of the Review Panel, the Executive Committee approved 3 of 8 projects, which will be supported with CHF 1,5 million.

New chairperson for the Executive Committee    

Prof. Dr. Ruedi Aebersold resigned as the chairperson of the PHRT Executive Committee by May 22, 2019 and is succeeded by Prof. Dr. Bernd Wollscheid.

PhD & Postdoc Day 2019 at PSI

PHRT organized the first doctoral and postdoc day on May 8, 2019 at Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) in Villigen. 15 iDoc and 10 TPdF scientist were invited to get to know each other, build up a sense of common challenges and visit parts of the facilities of PSI. Picture gallery.
